Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has visited the Nevatim Airbase where he met with fighter pilots from the Israeli military.

US President Joe Biden says that a Gaza ceasefire remained a possibility despite Israel and Hamas trading blame over the latest proposal.

Algeria has promised to immediately begin supplying Lebanon with fuel for its faltering power plants, a day after Lebanon’s electricity company announced its supplies were exhausted.
